Happy Mother's Day !

Hi Sweet Readers! I know many of you are mothers and so I wanted to send you these cupcake flowers to wish you a very special Mother's Day! It contains 36 mini cupcakes and oh, just a tad of frosting. I hope it makes you smile. :) I made it for a client yesterday and she gets to give it to her mom, but since I took a picture, I'm also giving it to you!

I don't get to see my mom today but I will get to next week. I so look forward to that time. I have a wonderful mother and I am blessed beyond measure. I am also blessed with a great mother-in-law. The best of both worlds.
And here is the "mother" of this blog with her wonderful boys. We just had a little escape to SF this weekend and had some great adventures together. (btw, I have bakery reviews to come :)

These boys are the best and challenge me daily to be a better mom. I hope I can follow the examples set before me and show them what amazing treasures they are.

Carrot Cake Cupcakes

Happy Monday, Sweet Readers :)

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! We were blessed with an incredible weekend here in California. The weather was just stunning.

Here are some carrot cake cuppies I made and topped with some little handmade marzipan carrots. I frosted them with vanilla cream cheese buttercream. Sooo moist and yummy! I know many people love carrot cake and this is one of the best recipes I have found. I loved the texture and moistness and the flavor just popped.

Debbie's Request

Good Afternoon, Everyone! The title of today's post is "Debbie's Request" because my dear friend Debbie requested that I show some pictures of these carrot and flower cupcakes. I make the totally edible candy toppings myself and can do just about anything to top a cake. It's very fun and creative! The ones above are carrot cupcakes with vanilla bean cream cheese frosting. I had fun with these and am looking forward to that scary holiday coming up to do some fun candy toppers!

These were some freehanded flowers I did atop some very moist chestnut cream cuppies (one of hubby's favorites).
I made these flower tops for brownies I gave as a thank you gift. I had fun with the packaging on these.


These candy toppers were made for my sweet niece's birthday cuppies. My cousin Krista made the yummy cuppies and I brought the flowers for the flower themed bday.

I made these chocolate musical notes for my nephew's bday. He turned just three and is such a musician already! Again, Krista made her famous cuppies and I topped them. We make a good team, don't you think?
