Happy Friday, Sweet Readers!
This sweet creation was another cake I made for the cake walk at my son's International Festival. I think it was the first of the creations I made to go. I never saw who won it, but I sure hope they enjoyed it!
The cake is a chocolate cake and I topped it with my favorite buttercream. It's a Coffee Kahlua Latte buttercream and it's simply divine! I got the recipe from Carrie over at Fields of Cake and it's my current fav. It's like a creamy wonderful latte. Yum! I also added some chocolate fudge buttercream and some Vahlrona chocolate pearls.
Have a sweet weekend!

Ohhh yum! Is it a big cake shaped like a cupcake or is it a cupcake? I can't tell it just looks so divine!
It's a big cupcake CAKE. I have a pan and I love it!! Usually I dip the bottom in ganache, but for the cake walk, I went all natural :)

It looks great! What decorating tip did you use to frost the cupcake?

Thanks, Carrie. I'm not completely certain what tip I used, but most likely a 1M and I swirled it in circles.
Hi Lisa. It looks so yummy! Where do you get the chocolate pearls????
I got the Vahlrona chocolate pearls at Surfas, in Culver City. You can also get them online, too, I believe.
