Butterfly Cupcake Cake

Hello Sweet Readers! I hope your week is going well and that you are having a great Wednesday. Here is a butter pecan cupcake cake I made for the cake walk at my son's International Festival (I made a few things ...some of which you have seen and some yet to be seen :) I frosted with with vanilla buttercream and added some yummy handmade candy butterflies. I thought it was so cheery looking. It got nabbed pretty quick...too fast for my boys to win and bring back home to us! Hee hee!
Have a great rest of your week...and let me know what your favorite summertime dessert is if you get a chance! I'd love to hear from you!

Strawberry shortcake, our way. Slice up strawberries and add a little sugar to them, put them in the fridge for a while and they will get pretty juicy. Once thats ready, you get a big slice of angel food cake, cover it in your strawberries and top that with cool whip. Its super fast and easy and very light.

MMMMM. I think Lisa Smiley cupcakes are always my favorite, winter, spring, summer or fall! Key lime pie is nice for summer too, but a distant second to your cupcakes! Love the butterflies.
